ADHD Fast Track: A Closer Look
As of 2022 the FAA began offering two distinct evaluation pathways for individual's with a history of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and/or those who have been prescribed ADHD-type medications. Individual's meeting the FAA's Fast Track criteria may not require cognitive testing such as the CogScreen AE or neuropsychological examination.
ADHD Fast Track Criteria
Individuals applying for their medical certificate with a history of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) may be eligible for either the FAA's Standard or Fast Track depending upon several important factors..
